Smörgåsbord!
 

For many years, almost  from the dawn of recorded history, Southport Lions Club has celebrated the coming of the Vikings by holding, annually, a Smörgåsbord, a feast of meat and fish, of green things, and stuff that people actually want to eat! Dressed in ceremonial costume, and glittering with the treasures of the ages, the modern Vikings and their ladies foregather to pay tribute and tell tall stories. And later on there might even be dancing and other entertainments before we all set sail into the sunset once more.
