Our website has a new look as well as a new address! The address is really easy to remember, and hopefully it's very logical. How do people think of us? We're the Lions Shop. What do they want to know? Information. Put the two together, and we have www.lionsshop.info

For going on fifty years, successive generations of Southport Lions have undertaken charitable activities in and around our town, region and the world. You may well have seen us in the Carnival Parade, at the Classics in the Park, or the Flower Show, or at the Christmas Lights Switch On!

 

Now, with the opening of The Lions Shop in Station Road, Ainsdale, we will be able to do even more. 100% of the profits from the shop will be used to support Southport Lions' charitable projects, and 90% of all the funds raised by Southport Lions are dedicated to helping organisations, groups and individuals in and around Southport - the remaining 10% goes to fund Lions' international projects. Not one penny goes in administration or bureaucracy!

 

● Our Shop is now officially open! The opening ceremony was held on Thursday 21st May 2009 when Alan Hansen, celebrity footballer and TV presenter, snipped the ribbon and helped us to present a couple of donations! For which honourable service, he went away with a cuddly Lion!
