21st May 2009 - Southport Lions Donate £1,000 to the Southport Dialysis Unit Fund

 

It is enough of a problem when you need dialysis to stay alive. It is even more of a problem when you have to travel round the region to receive it. But thanks to the work of the Southport Dialysis Unit Fund dialysis is now available in Southport, and Southport Lions are delighted to be able to contribute towards this worthwhile project.

A presentation cheque was handed over by Mr Alan Hansen during the opening ceremony for The Lions Shop. Also seen in the picture are Dr Leslie Grimshaw and Cllr Brenda Porter.
